I set up this site so to post some of my favorite black and white images. And while I do shoot in color, black and white remains my preference. I was fairly active in photography from the 1980s to early 1990s with film, darkrooms, chemicals and the like. I have digitally scanned a number of my negatives from those days and they can be found here in the "Scanned in from Negatives" gallery. Fast forward to 2008 and I began dabbling in photography once again, but of course it is now all digital which is the source for the majority of images on this site.

Great job setting up the site Dana. I have enjoyed looking through your galleries and I look forward to coming back to visit here.

Outstanding collection. Great photo choices and, yes, you did a good job of getting rid of the grain on the scanned black and whites. I really like the tonality of many of these. Keep it up!
